What is Teable?
Teable is an open-source no-code database with a spreadsheet interface, built on PostgreSQL.
What does it do?
Organizes records into tables with grid, kanban, gallery, calendar, and form views, plus links between tables, formulas, and per-field permissions. Exposes the underlying Postgres and a REST API, and self-hosts via Docker.
Who is it for?
Teams that have outgrown spreadsheets and want an Airtable-style interface sitting on a real Postgres database they control.
What are the alternatives to Teable?
Airtable is the hosted incumbent with a larger app and automation ecosystem. NocoDB, Baserow, and Grist are the other open-source options, with NocoDB layering onto existing databases and Grist leaning on formulas.
