Code & Git Hosting
Host code and collaborate.
Hosting the repos is the trivial part — git moves anywhere. What doesn't move is everything wrapped around it: issues, review history, CI config, and the contributors who already have an account. Pick based on how much of that stack you want from one vendor, and how much of it you're willing to run yourself.
Editor's pick
Forgejo if you want to self-host without babysitting it. It runs comfortably on modest hardware, and Codeberg is a hosted instance if you'd rather not run anything at all.
