What is Coolify?
Coolify is an open-source, self-hosted platform-as-a-service that deploys apps to servers you own.
What does it do?
Builds and deploys apps from a Git repo or Dockerfile onto VPSes you connect, handling TLS certificates and reverse proxying. Also provisions databases like Postgres, MySQL and Redis, plus backups, preview deployments and one-click self-hosted services.
Who is it for?
Developers and small teams who are comfortable maintaining a Linux server and want to escape per-seat platform pricing, or who need deployments to stay on specific infrastructure.
What are the alternatives to Coolify?
Vercel, Netlify and Render are managed platforms that run the servers for you. Railway and Fly.io target backends and containers, while Dokku is a lighter self-hosted deploy tool.
